From Parliment with love….

Just few comments of what was happening for the past week in the parliment.

- It is dishearthening to see certain parties make such a fuss over their MPs who supported the motion by the parties which are not within their coalition. And yet we so proud of our own brand of democracy…. sighz…

- I think our MPs should learn how to put their efforts and time debating on more important issues, not on issues like how to sing Negaraku in a proper way, polygamy.. bla bla..

- I read with disgust some ministers comments when issues that required honest answers and transparency was brought up. Take for example the haze issue, or more recently on dengue, when asked, the standard answer by the minister will alway be "We dont want to scare the tourists away, giving out the statistic will give bad impression… bla bla bla… ‘ Wadafak!? They are supposed to care for the people in the country, not outsiders, not some tourists who ’spend their money once or twice or maybe if they are richer or nothing better to do, another few more times visiting Malaysia’ but i damn sure and i bet my 20cents it wont be more than the time and money that us citizen spend here. We are the taxpayers, and we demand honest and good answer. Why the hell they care so much about the reputation of the country? A fake reputation somemore.. bah! It is not like we can keep quiet about the matter, oh so then the tourists will happily come here and will not know about it.. It is better for them be informed before they come here for holidays than they know it only when they already here.. If the latter happens, that will really give bad impression of how transparent and honest our country is..  :)
