Unlucky me.

Today, I got my 1st traffic summon since I work in KL :D I was caught not having my driving license with me. Why I don’t have the driving license with me? To know why, read on.. (Insert funny effects here… weird music.. flashback effects lol..cloud cloud….)

Yesterday, I went for CF (Certificate of Fitness) inspection for one of the project in Kota Kemuning. As usual, we (me, boss and another colleague) went to MBSA to fetch the officers in-charge. I went to MBSA by bike at 8am and waited for my boss and the officers. ( Inspection time will be at 8.30am as requested by the officer - when I called her on Friday to confirm the time, she asked to change the time from 9.30am to 8.30am because ‘Puasa lah,tak nak 9.30, panas..’) Guess what, the officer didn’t show up at 8.30am and when I called her, her assistant told me she’s having meeting and maybe the inspection time need to be rescheduled. (I couldn’t reach her, it was her assistant that answered the call) So we waited for a while, and when officers from other departments (For CF inspection, 4 departments will go and inspect - Building, Planning, Engineering and Landscape) showed their faces, we decided to go without that one officer.

1 hour later….

Done up the inspection, left only one department - the MIA officer. On the way to MBSA, admin from my office called, informing that the officer has called, asking us to fetch her for the inspection after other department done with their inspection. She wanted to do the inspection at 11am, (tak panas lagi ke?) if not, she will reject the CF application. (whoa..) So I rushed up to look for her after getting my visitor pass at the lobby counter. (Visitor need to deposit their IC or license or whatever identification to get the pass and yeahhh… I dropped my driving license at the counter..) Eheh..

Yeap, I forgot about my driving license until last night when I was about to take my shower I took out the visitor pass from my pocket.. lol lol .. So this morning when I was on my way to MBSA to retrieve my driving license, I get caught.. Cilaka betul.. Already before I planned to go MBSA, I was thinking like.. "hehe.. not so ’soi’ gua.. on the way kena saman." Hahaha.. really in bad luck..Still kena saman even after I told the officer I was on my way to take my driving license.. haih.. haih.. sigh…

Anyway, one question in my mind, why during these periods - fasting month, or near festive seasons, there are many roadblocks set up? Why not other time? Because this few days, I saw quite a lot of roadblocks. On the way for CF inspection yesterday, saw one at the Kemuning Utama, few days back met one at Federal Highway motorcyle lane (opposite Avon), last week at motorcycle lane also near Sunway toll exit… Everywhere?!? Maybe a good sign.. more productive police force we have now :P (inspired by the 2006 Budget eh?)
